Years ago, when we literally “bought the farm,” never in my wildest dreams did I anticipate someone contacting me through Facebook, to ask for help for a proposal. But a few weeks back, that happened, and on Friday evening, a proposal occurred at the farm.
Justin had been dating a gal for five years and felt it was time he asked her to be his wife. He contacted me about creating a beautiful arrangement of flowers for his girlfriend and that he wanted to propose to her, somewhere. I asked him if there was a special place, he might want me to bring the flowers to, but in talking with him I could sense he was nervous and needed a hand in figuring out a plan.
So enter Spring Valley Farm. And a husband who builds things. I suggested to Justin he could use a farm table and walk through the hay fields from our far barns. He could bring a picnic, some friends and be greeted with a perfect setting to “pop the question.”
He happily obliged, telling his girlfriend, Lindsay, they were going to a farm-to-table event (LOL!).
She said “Yes!”
Thank you Justin and Lindsay for letting Spring Valley Farms play a part in your special day and congratulations!
I’m Lindsay’s Mamaw and your story is so beautiful it made me cry. I am happy for them.
Thank you for sharing in this special day.
that is just beautiful
